M8 Lagoon Nebula (NGC 6523)
NGC6523 or the Lagoon Nebula is a giant interstellar cloud in the constellation Sagittarius about 4,100 light-years away. This image was taken on the first clear night after a long spell of poor weather. It was quite windy, but the guiding seemed ok.
