N11 is the brightest emission nebula in the north-west part of the Large Magellanic Cloud in the Dorado constellation. This image also includes IC 2115, IC 2116, NGC 1733, NGC 1760, NGC 1761, NGC 1763, NGC 1769, NGC 1773 and NGC 1776. Also of interest is N11L at the 3 O'Clock position - a supernova remnant within the N11 complex that is part of a two-stage starburst process.
