NGC 3503 is a small reflection nebula and can be seen as the bright area right in the center of this image. The wide field nebulosity is part of RCW 54. The area imaged is located about midway between the Eta Carinae Nebula NGC 3372 (to the right) and the Statue of Liberty Nebula NGC 3576 (to the lower left).
