NGC 3572

Located in Carina between Crux and the Eta Carinae Nebula, NGC 3572 can be seen just left of centre in this image. Dark nebulae HMSTG348 and HMSTG345 can be seen at the lower right as well as RCW 57e, NGC 3603, RCW 57w (containing NGC 3584, NGC 3579, NGC 3582, NGC 3581, NGC 3586, NGC 3576, vdBH47a and vdBH47c). Finally, planetary nebula Hf48 (PNG290.1-00.4) can be seen as a red smudge at the top of the image just right of centre. North is to the left. Taken over 2 nights remotely from Hong Kong.
