Rosette Nebula NGC 2237

The Rosette Nebula is a large, circular H II region. Distance is 5,200 light years. I had to wait until the almost full moon set around 2am to start capturing this image. There was a heavy dew present and a noisy Koala nearby to keep me company. 68.72 x 54.05 arcminutes 1.02 arcsec/pixel RA 06:32:11.031 DEC +4:56:20.711
