NGC 3199 (also known as GUM 28, RCW 48) is an emission nebula in the constellation Carina. It is commonly known as the Banana Nebula. The object was discovered in 1826 by the Scottish astronomer James Dunlop. In the top left you can also see a bubble planetary nebula (PK283-01.2 aka MeWe 1-2). 18 hour image taken over 5 nights.
